Synopsis
Mangra Honhaga, a tribal from a remote village in Jharkhand, lives a modest life with his family, following the everyday chores that keep them going. But for some time now, the village has not been the same. Operation Green Hunt is in full force, with security troops scouring the forests to hunt down Naxalites. The atmosphere is tense, and the lives of villagers are constantly under its shadow. Still, Mangra holds on to his belief that life must go on. One day, he goes into the forest to collect wood, just as he has done countless times before. Unaware of what awaits him, he steps deeper into the jungle, thinking only of earning his daily bread honestly. But the forest that once sheltered him now becomes a place of fear, suspicion, and danger. What unfolds next is not just the story of Mangra, but of every innocent caught between the crossfire of a war they never chose. His life takes a turn that no one in the village could have imagined and his fate leaves behind a question that lingers long after, in the forest.
