Synopsis
Compote tells the story of a young soldier who steps onto the battlefield as if entering an unfamiliar school. In this school, lessons are not written in books, but in silence, in fear, and in the fleeting kindness that flows between human beings. In the world of Compote, everything becomes a lesson: emptiness holds a hidden meaning; scarcity gives birth to generosity; and even death carries within itself a spark of life. For me, Compote is a meditation on learning the meaning of life and humanity — in a world where no one knows whether they will still be alive a few minutes later. A world where a single can of fruit compote can be as precious and delightful as a grand feast — and where, in the name of life itself, people choose to give it away.
